Our environmental policy

The environmental management system of DEUTA Mechanics GmbH covers all activities, products and services that fall within the scope of our environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015.

  • The environmental policy applies throughout the company’s entire scope of operations, to all manufactured products and to all services provided.
  • DEUTA Mechanics GmbH complies with environmental protection regulations and standards and operates in an environmentally conscious manner. Based on the principles of the Rio Declaration, DEUTA Mechanics GmbH manages natural resources responsibly.
  • DEUTA Mechanics GmbH tries to minimize or avoid all negative influences and effects of its business activities on air, water, soil, natural resources, flora, fauna, and humans.
  • Environmental impacts are investigated by collecting input and output data for various operating conditions of the plants, processes and services and classified as environmental aspects.
  • The regular assessment of environmental aspects in all phases of product development and service provision (life cycle assessment), which can have significant environmental impacts, is reviewed through internal audits and an annual review of DEUTA Mechanics GmbH’s environmental policy. Possible adjustments in response to changing requirements are examined, and countermeasures are initiated as needed.
  • Prevention of environmentally relevant incidents is practiced through trained staff and careful selection of technologies used, taking environmental aspects into account.
  • Comprehensive emergency plans to prevent lasting environmental damage are in place and are regularly reviewed and updated as needed.
  • DEUTA Mechanics GmbH relies on good and trustworthy cooperation with all business partners and all interested parties and also integrates them into the environmental management system in a partnership manner.
  • As part of the annual planning process, environmental targets are set and regularly reviewed with the aim of continuous and sustainable improvement of environmental performance.
  • Reduction of CO2 emissions through preventive measures to meet environmental regulations.
  • DEUTA Mechanics GmbH fully complies with the requirements of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and adheres to binding obligations such as:
